A Recap of my Work @HKME
I was recruited as a Student Ambassador by HKME in March 2014 and my last day of work was 27th May, 2017. It was my first part-time work in my career.
During 3 years of my work, I was responsible for keeping the order of Hong Kong Institute of Education's (became EdUHK in May 2016) in-house museum during the operation time. The job include a wide-range of task, from taking guided tours to ad-hoc tasks such as script translating, maintaining records such as various competitions held by the museum. My communication skills is therefore increased as I need to deliver and explain the information on the exhibition to the guests.
During my work period, the exhibition has changed 3 times. When I came in, it was about Organizations that have founded schools. Not long later, it changed to an exhibition about the history of HKIEd as to celebrate her 20th anniversery, in which I learnt the history of the University I was studying. Later, the museum cooperated with the museum in Shandong Provience, organizing an exhibition about Confucius, in which I was able to apply what I have learnt in a course about this Chinese Philospher. Right before the exhibition changes again, I graduated from my studies in EdUHK.
Unfortunately, there were not much photos taken during my work in HKME :(
